TNCC Training

TNCC is offered through CMMC. If you would like to attend the training please contact Heather Burnell for a registration form.
Your registration will need to be approved by your department and accepted by CMMC. All course information and materials will be provided directly from CMMC.

Preceptor Workshop

The Preceptor Workshop will be an interdisciplinary, interactive 4-hour class that focuses on the roles and responsibilities of being a preceptor. The class will include education on adult learning theory, ways to inspire your preceptees, tips and tricks on how to manage challenging preceptor-preceptee relationships, teaching tips and so much more! There will also be a guest panel at the end of the class consisting of experienced preceptors from throughout the hospital to learn from.
Any clinical team members looking to enhance their preceptor skills or become a preceptor in the future are welcome!

ACLS Online Course
The ACLS certification is now administered using Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI). RQI Information
With the implementation of RQI, care team members will no longer need to complete a lengthy online assignment every two years to receive certification. Users will be automatically assigned quarterly assignments in the Learning Management System (LMS).
Each RQI assignment contains a cognitive portion and a hands-on skills portion. The cognitive portion can be completed at any computer using LMS, however skills assessments will continue to be held in-person in the Education Training Room. Megacode skills will be required every 2 years for ACLS.
PLEASE NOTE: If your certification is expiring and you have not received your LMS assignment, please contact the Clinical Education Department.

BCLS Online Course
The BCLS certification is now administered using Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI). RQI Information
With the implementation of RQI, care team members will no longer need to complete a lengthy online assignment every two years to receive certification. Instead, users will complete much shorter quarterly assignments and skill assessments at a convenient time for their schedule. Users will be automatically assigned quarterly assignments in the Learning Management System (LMS).
Each RQI assignment contains a cognitive portion and a hands on skills portion. Cognitive portions can be completed at any computer using LMS, however skills assessments need to be completed at an RQI station.

NRP Advanced Provider Online Training

Restraint & Suicide Precautions Training
To complete your annual Restraint & Suicide Precautions Training, please contact one of the Instructors listed below to schedule an appointment.
This will be a 15-minute session focusing on education and hands-on practice. The goal is to gain knowledge of suicide precaustions and demonstrate the use of different restraints.
